Holding a pot of pretty lilac Persian shallots (or ‘allium stipitatum’ if ya wanna get fancy!) 🌸 // Had the best day ever with the @gourmetfarmsPH folks today at their Silang farm. Was spoiled from start to end, from freshly brewed coffee in the morning with rosemary & pesto(!!!) cookies (so good) to basil lemonade, fresh salad & zucchini-shrimp pizza 😍 Explored the herb, coffee & compost farms as well as the beautiful chapel sanctuary.⛪️🍃 Had more amazing food, followed up with tarragon-infused banaba leaf tea. 🍵 Then dessert… Followed by another coffee…. ☕️🙊 I’m coffee-crashing so hard now but just wanted to share my gratitude for the wonderful day. I learned so much. Thanks Doc Jay & Ginny, can’t wait to write with ya! ☺️ (at Gourmet Farms, Inc.)
